The Producers liked the concept of my idea but highlighted certain problem areas that threaten its integrity and ability to be a box office success mainly due to there not being a clear audience for the film because of a lack of elements for one to connect to.

One of these areas was having unknown actors as people will be less inclined to want to watch it without knowing the ability of the actors and without an already established connection to them. To aid in capturing the target audience's interest, the actors will be replaced with more well-known UK stars such as Asa Butterfield (Hugo, Ender's Game, Sex Education), Tom Holland (Spider-Man, Marvel Franchise), and Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: The Force Awakens). This will require the budget to be increased to accommodate the cost of hiring said actors, possibly to around 10 million..

Another point that was brought to my attention was with regards to the supernatural elements, the immortality and sacrifices to demons, creating a disconnect between other supernatural media such as The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina etc. because of the lack of definition around the forces and species involved which creates a disconnect with the audience as well because they are unfamiliar with said forces/creatures. To reconcile this, the sacrifices Sophie and Dan make will be to turn them into a supernatural creature, such as a vampire or another well-known demon, instead of giving them just immortality as this will give the audience an incentive to watch the film through the ability to connect with the supernatural contents.

In order to make the film more cinematic, pivotal moments and challenges will be incorporated into the story to keep the audience engaged throughout the film as well as to create a deeper emotional connection between the characters and audience as seeing the character's struggle will create empathy within the audience. Some of these challenges will be Nick's Detective force that he is going against discovering his unwarranted pursuit and attempting to stop him, Dan becoming severely impaired by having his leg cut off during the capture of a sacrifice and so giving him an incentive to continue with the plan for immortality and rejuvenation but also as a show of his will to question whether to go through with it, as well as Sophie being tasked with having to kill one of the sacrifices herself instead of having Dan do it for her as a test and turning point of how far she is willing to go.
